Design Engineering is an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) component manufacturing company. We are ISO 9001 certified. Our customers are in the automotive, medical equipment, flight & vehicle simulator, vehicle parking & access control system and petro-chemical industries to name a few. We have been in business since 1991 and are based in Westmead, Durban.

Design Engineering uses CNC milling, turning and bending machines in their production processes.  These machines are able to work to fine tolerances, guaranteeing accuracy and repeatability resulting in finished components and assemblies of a high standard.

We can accommodate prototyping and small production runs at competitive prices.  We also manufacture electro-mechanical assemblies.
